What you'll get

Omniplast offers a versatile executive position with room for entrepreneurship, initiative, and direct influence on the business result. You build upon an established market position, long-term customer relationships, and a production organization in which substantial investments have been made.

You work in a compact management team with short decision-making lines and involved shareholders. The combination of commercial growth potential, team development, and collaboration with VRM offers the opportunity to make a defining contribution to the next phase of the company.

The location is Veghel.

The role

CCO (Chief Commercial Officer)

Omniplast is an established Dutch producer of plastic pipes with a strong position in the Benelux. With substantial investments in production capacity, the company has laid the foundation for further growth. To leverage these opportunities, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) who strengthens the market position, develops new commercial opportunities, and increases returns.

A versatile executive position for a commercially strong leader who combines strategic insight with decisiveness, builds sustainable customer relationships, and actively contributes to the results themselves.

What you'll do

As CCO, you are responsible for developing and realizing the commercial strategy. You provide direction to sales, marketing, pricing policy, assortment development, and strategic account management. Central to this is achieving profitable growth in a mature, price-sensitive market.

You are part of a compact management team, together with the CFO, Operations Manager, and QHSE Manager. You report directly to the Board. The shareholders are closely involved in the strategic course and important decisions.

You lead two account managers and the commercial back office, which has its own supervisor. At the same time, you personally maintain relationships with strategic customers and conduct important commercial negotiations.

The main responsibilities are

  • Commercial strategy and market development: increasing market share, deepening existing customer relationships, and developing new sales opportunities, with an emphasis on the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • Strategic account management: strengthening relationships with key distributors and wholesalers, ensuring customer continuity, and increasing share within existing customers.
  • Pricing policy and return: driving revenue, volume, and margin, and negotiating contracts and delivery terms, with an eye for raw material prices, production, and transport costs.
  • Propositions and assortment: translating customer needs into commercially attractive applications and leveraging the collaboration with sister company VRM.
  • Leadership and commercial impact: developing the sales team, strengthening ownership, and realizing a proactive market approach with clear account plans and objectives.
  • Collaboration and execution: aligning commercial ambitions with production capacity, planning, and delivery reliability, in close cooperation with operations and finance.

You operate at the intersection of strategy and daily practice. You make sharp choices regarding customers, volumes, and margins and translate these into concrete actions. In doing so, you take responsibility for the collective business result and ensure that commercial agreements are actually fulfilled.

Requirements

We are looking for an entrepreneurial commercial leader with a demonstrable track record in a technical or industrial B2B environment. You combine commercial sharpness with business insight and feel at home in an organization where personal relationships, short lines of communication, and result-oriented collaboration are central.

You recognize yourself in the following profile:

  • Extensive commercial experience in a technical or industrial B2B environment, with at least ten years of experience leading sales teams.
  • Demonstrably successful in commercial growth, market development, strategic account management, and complex negotiations.
  • Experience with pricing policy, margin improvement, and the development of new propositions and customer relationships.
  • Insight into the dynamics of a manufacturing company and the connection between sales volumes, cost prices, margins, capacity, and logistics.
  • The ability to develop employees, set clear expectations, and stimulate ownership.
  • An independent, persuasive, and connecting style, through which you are a strong interlocutor for customers, colleagues, and involved shareholders.
  • A completed HBO or WO degree in a commercial, business administration, or technical direction and excellent command of Dutch and English. German is a plus.

Experience with distribution channels, wholesalers, and technical-industrial products is a plus. You do not necessarily have to come from the plastics industry. Experience in construction materials, water management, or related industries may also be a good fit.

Above all, we are looking for a self-assured, accessible leader who combines ambition with realism. You win trust, dare to make choices, and stay close to customers and employees. You consciously choose an entrepreneurial environment in which you provide direction and also roll up your sleeves yourself.
