Compliance Officer

• You develop, implement, and maintain an international compliance program for the entire organization;

• You ensure a consistent rollout of compliance policy within our various branches and entities;

• You advise management and stakeholders on compliance issues, risks, and improvement measures;

• You develop and harmonize policies, procedures, and control frameworks;

• You safeguard the compliance of our ISO 9001 quality management system;

• You coordinate internal and external audits and monitor the follow-up of audit findings;

• You monitor developments within relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR, the EU Data Act, and sanctions legislation;

• You perform risk analyses and compliance assessments and translate insights into concrete improvement actions;

• You investigate and report (potential) compliance incidents and non-conformities;

• You develop and provide compliance and quality awareness training for employees worldwide;

• You support internal audits and supplier audits in the areas of compliance and quality;

• You work together with international teams to sustainably integrate compliance and quality into processes and products.

As a Compliance Officer, you play an important role in further professionalizing compliance, governance, and quality management within our international organization. You are responsible for developing, implementing, and safeguarding compliance and quality standards and ensuring that Priva complies with relevant national and international laws and regulations.

You work closely with colleagues within Product Development, Product Compliance, Fulfilment, Sales, and other international stakeholders. In doing so, you combine strategic advice with a hands-on approach to structurally anchor compliance and quality within the organization.

You are an analytical and connecting professional who knows how to convert complex regulations into clear, practical solutions. You understand how important compliance and quality are within an international technology organization and know how to bring people along in changes.

You combine a critical eye with a pragmatic approach. In doing so, you feel comfortable in an environment where you switch between operational issues, audits, risk analyses, and strategic advice to management and stakeholders.

Thanks to your experience within compliance, governance, quality management, or risk management, you are a full partner for colleagues at various levels within the organization.

Furthermore, you bring:

• A completed HBO or WO degree, for example in Law, Business Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, or a similar field;

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience within compliance, quality management, governance, or risk management;

• Experience with setting up and implementing compliance programs within an international organization;

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience with audit coordination;

• Knowledge of European laws and regulations in the fields of privacy, product compliance, and sanctions legislation;

• Experience with risk analyses, compliance assessments, and internal control measures;

• Strong communication skills and the ability to advise stakeholders at different levels;

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

• A salary between €3,600.00 and €5,100.00, matching your knowledge and experience;
