As a Domain Manager, do you want to provide direction to digital services that make goods flows through Dutch ports more transparent and efficient? As Domain Manager Services, you are responsible for the vision and strategy of the domain, managing stakeholders, and realizing results. Additionally, you direct and coach the team and ensure optimal collaboration within and outside the domain.

The domain focuses on developing and managing digital services for the port logistics process, specifically making port logistics flows transparent through various services, including data services. These services serve a large and diverse customer group consisting of, among others, shippers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, terminals, and customs. In doing so, the domain fulfills a key role in chain collaboration between public and private parties.

As domain manager, you are responsible for leading your teams. You place the focus on career development, craftsmanship, and ownership of your team members. As a connector, you stimulate knowledge sharing and collaboration, both within the team and with other domains and departments. You actively contribute to the professional and personal growth of the people in your team. You hold a client role for various projects and are engaged in improving the organization and its processes.

The team consists of Business Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Tech Leads and Software Engineers, Business Consultants, and UX designers. You report to the Head of Services.

• Leading, inspiring (vision), motivating, and further developing the teams.

• Translating the business strategy into the domain portfolio and vision for the teams.

• The business cases in your domain and the associated budgets for the projects, implementations, maintenance, and "run" activities in your domain.

• You are co-responsible for the financing of the domain within the financing model.

• Realization and retention of team staffing (formation and capability) in collaboration with HR and recruitment. In this, you look ahead and ensure that the staffing and capabilities align with what you need to realize your vision and business cases.

• Customer and stakeholder management within the domain, including shippers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, terminals, customs, and industry organizations.

• New product development and expansion within your domain.

• Operations and incident management (SRE) within your domain.

• Life Cycle Management of products and services within the domain.

• Alignment of the team and the processes with other connected and related business processes.

• Further development of the processes within your teams in consultation with the process owners.

• The quality of the software and the service delivery to customers from your domain.
