What we're looking for

HBO/WO working and thinking level
At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a software developer
Experience with front-end development (Angular and/or TypeScript)
Experience with back-end development (Java or event-driven architecture)
Experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS) or willingness to learn this
Analytically strong and focused on quality and maintainable code
Proactive, communicative, and a true team player

The role

Would you like to build systems as a Full-Stack Developer that are essential for the coordination of ship calls in Dutch ports? And do you enjoy working at the intersection of front-end, back-end, and cloud, with a direct impact on the logistics chain? Then read on!

What you'll do

As a Full-Stack Developer within the Bezoek Schip team, you will work on digital services that ensure the smooth and secure handling of ship calls. You are involved from design to realization and help build solutions used daily by shipping companies, terminals, and port authorities.

Your duties include

Developing and maintaining front-end applications (Angular, TypeScript)
Collaborating on back-end development, such as APIs and integrations (Java)
Building scalable and reliable solutions within a cloud environment (AWS)
Working on the integration with the European Maritime Single Window (EMSWe)
Processing and optimizing data flows between different supply chain partners
Ensuring data quality and system performance
Collaborating in refinements, code reviews, and technical discussions
Deploying, testing, and monitoring applications in production
You work in a multidisciplinary team with plenty of room for your own initiative and influence on technical choices and improvements.

Your week consists of a mix of development, consultation moments, refinements, and collaboration with stakeholders.
