Requirements

What we're looking for

You are at the end of your bachelor's in law or have already started a civil law master's. Additionally, you have an affinity for the energy sector/energy law. You are available at least two days per week for approximately six months. Furthermore, you are proactive, decisive, and enjoy making a positive contribution to the team.

The role

Are you studying law and do you want to engage with a wide range of challenging energy issues during your studies? Then this vacancy offers a wonderful opportunity!

What will you be doing?

Our Energy Team advises on current issues in all links of the energy chain. Drafting energy contracts, heat projects, emissions trading, grid congestion, the construction of wind farms, and market access procedures are among the recurring topics. The Energy Team's clients include energy companies and consumers, developers, and governments.

What you'll do

As a working student, you will be right in the middle of our unique practice and will help us investigate legal issues, write blogs for our Climate and Energy Blog, categorize case law, and perform other substantive work in the energy field.

What do we offer you as a working student?

A working student position offers you the chance to start working on legal substance alongside your studies. You will not only get the chance to put your acquired knowledge into practice, but you will also get the chance to take a look behind the scenes of our unique energy practice.

You will work from our office next to the Central Station in The Hague and will be guided by experienced colleagues. Additionally, there are various (social) activities where you can get to know your colleagues better. Furthermore, you can make use of our office facilities and discover in an accessible way whether you would like to get to know our firm further after this working student position.
