How do you reach an 18-year-old on TikTok and an older viewer of our television news with journalism that matters? That question is central to the Stories Team. We are looking for a senior editor who understands social media through and through, has sharp journalistic instincts, and gets energy from coaching talented creators.
With every news story, you ask the question: what does this concretely mean for the target audience you want to reach? You contribute ideas for new formats and encourage experimentation with platform specific storytelling methods. Working in the Stories Team, you collaborate closely with the senior editors of the News Team and the Region & Investigation Team.
As a senior editor, you are responsible for the editorial direction of the newsroom on the day itself. You ensure that the right stories reach our audience at the right time via the right platform. You monitor editorial coherence and hold ultimate responsibility for all published content, whether in text, video, or audio.

Leading editorial meetings and contributing creative angles;
Evaluating published items together with the editorial staff and team leader.
