As a Financial Controller at Odido, you ensure reliable financial insights that the business can build upon. You work in an organization with more than €2 billion in revenue and millions of customers, meaning your work has a direct influence on important decisions.

You are an important sparring partner within finance and work closely with business controllers, commercial teams, auditors, and other stakeholders. You analyze results and developments behind the numbers and translate these into clear insights and advice.

This role is located at the intersection of finance, operations, and commerce. In addition to reporting and accounting, you contribute to projects such as system implementations, process improvements, and new business initiatives. This gives you the chance to get to know finance from different perspectives and make a visible impact.

With a strong sense of ownership, you ensure high-quality financial data, transparent reports, and a solid control environment. Additionally, you continuously look at how processes can be designed more smartly and efficiently.

• Preparing, analyzing, and improving financial reports according to internal and external guidelines;
• Performing analyses on results, balance sheet positions, and financial developments, and identifying trends and deviations;
• Guiding audits and coordinating with external accountants;
• Translating financial insights into advice for commercial and operational decision-making;
• Initiating and realizing process improvements within finance.
