Chemical Analyst

• A completed MLO or HLO education
• Work or internship experience in a laboratory environment with instrumental analysis techniques.

You have a good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages. You can work independently and work accurately.

Our Natural Resources - Oil, Gas & Chemicals business line carries out port-based inspections, verifications, and analyses in the oil and (petro)chemical industry. The activities consist primarily of performing quantitative and qualitative inspections and analyses on a very wide range of liquid petroleum/petrochemical products.

As a Chemical Analyst in our chemistry laboratory in the Botlek, you will independently perform a wide spectrum of chemical analyses on liquid (petro) chemicals and gases. You are responsible for the entire "from sample to analysis" process, through which you have a lot of contact with the plants where you take the samples.

You will work in day shifts and in a small and friendly team. You will have contact with various people within and outside our organization. 

The techniques you will work with are: GC, IC, ICP, ICP-MS, AAS, UV-VIS, IR-spectrometry, Headspace-GC, and various wet chemistry techniques. The laboratory is ISO9001 certified and ISO17025 accredited.
