What you'll get

Depending on your experience, you will start between € 4,100 and € 5,800 gross per month based on a 35-hour work week, including 7.5% ATV and an indicative hourly allowance. You will work in a 3-shift service, where the amount of your hourly allowance depends on your schedule and the hours you work. If you work more hours in the evening or on Saturday, this amount may be higher. Additionally, you will receive a travel allowance and staff discounts at Kruidvat, Trekpleister, and ICI PARIS XL.

The role

At AS Watson - the parent company of Kruidvat, Trekpleister and ICI PARIS XL - we are looking for a Logistics Team Leader for our DPS (Dynamic Picking System) department. This is one of the most innovative departments within our distribution center, where automation, technology, and manpower come together. Here, we ensure that millions of items are processed efficiently and arrive on time at more than 1,500 stores in the Netherlands and Belgium.

What you'll do

To keep this logistics operation running smoothly, we need you. As Team Leader, you will lead 35 to 70 colleagues and ensure that everyone knows what is required to achieve the daily goals. You are visible on the shop floor, stimulate collaboration, and know how to connect people. With your positive and decisive approach, you build a strong team and a pleasant working atmosphere. At the same time, you manage based on KPIs and continuous improvement, so that your department delivers the best results every day in a dynamic 3-shift environment*.

What will you do in the role of Logistics Team Leader?

Analyze, optimize, and escalate. You act quickly as Logistics Team Leader. You ensure that the right colleagues are involved at the right time and maintain an overview when pressure increases. Has a problem been solved? Then you look at the cause together with your team and work on structural improvements that make the operation smarter, safer, and more efficient.
Motivate and coach the team. We are looking for a true team coach. As a visible leader on the shop floor, you know what is happening within your team. You coach and motivate employees to get the best out of themselves, each other, and the work. In doing so, you have an eye for safety, employability, ownership, and collaboration.
