Supply Chain Team Manager 3-shift

At AS Watson, parent company of Kruidvat, Trekpleister, and ICI PARIS XL, among others, we are looking for a Supply Chain Team Manager who gets energy from both people and logistics. A role in which you are in the middle of the operation, close to your team and close to the logistics process. You know how a distribution center works, understand what is needed to ensure the flow of goods runs smoothly every day, and find it rewarding to guide, motivate, and further develop people.

As Supply Chain Team Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 35 to 70 colleagues. You are visible on the work floor, know what is happening, and create an environment in which people feel heard and can bring out the best in themselves. With your coaching leadership style, you connect people, processes, and results. You maintain an overview, manage based on KPIs, and continuously look for ways to work smarter and better together with your team. It is precisely the dynamics of a logistics environment that gives you energy: no two days are the same and there is always something to respond to. Working in a 3-shift system* suits you. And that has its advantages too: for example, you regularly enjoy a free morning or evening!

What will you do in the position of Supply Chain Team Manager?

• See and stimulate development. You have an eye for both people and processes. You see where talent lies, recognize opportunities to help colleagues further in their development, and simultaneously signal areas for improvement within the operation. Together with your team, you ensure that we get a little better every day.
• Analyze, optimize, and escalate. You maintain an overview, set the right priorities, and switch gears quickly when necessary. You ensure that the right information reaches the right place, so that bottlenecks are effectively resolved. And has a challenge been resolved? Then you look further: what can we learn from this and how do we ensure that it goes even better next time?
• Motivate and coach the team. You are a coaching leader who stands close to the people. You guide colleagues in their daily work, provide confidence and responsibility, and know how to bring people along during changes. In this way, you build a positive working atmosphere in which collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement are central.
