Technician (5 shifts)

• Technical education completed at at least MBO level;

• You have work experience in the field of mechanical engineering and/or electrical engineering in a similar position;

• You are a team player but also capable of working independently;

• Good oral and written communication skills, in both the Dutch and English language.

What will you be doing?
As a Technician (5 shifts), you are responsible for the proper execution of maintenance and repair work on installations and equipment on our production lines, ensuring the progress of the production process is maintained. We are looking for both electrical and mechanical technicians. You will be involved in the optimization of the machine park and in performing modifications. Furthermore, you will supervise outsourced technicians during the execution of maintenance and installation work and you are responsible for maintaining administration regarding the performed maintenance, the materials used, the processing of work orders, and the accountability of outsourced working hours.

You will be working in Bergen op Zoom and you will be part of the Technical Services team. You report to the Supervisor Technical Services. This concerns a full-time role, in which you will work in 5-shift service.

What does your work look like?

• Investigating the cause of malfunctions and ensuring that malfunctions are resolved;

• Involved in the optimization of the machine park and in performing modifications;

• Supervising outsourced technicians during the execution of maintenance and installation work;

• Maintaining administration regarding the performed maintenance, the materials used, the processing of work orders, and the accountability of outsourced working hours.
