The role
Within the Finance Transformation & Performance team, we are looking for a Senior Manager with extensive experience in advising organizations on the design and improvement of their finance function and performance management.
As Senior Manager Finance Transformation & Performance, you help clients develop a clear vision for the finance function and translate this into concrete improvements in organization, processes, governance, data, and technology. We do this through our three propositions: Finance Transformation, Enterprise Performance Management, and Global Business Services. Depending on your experience and expertise, you will play a leading role within one or more of these propositions and contribute to their further development.
You can work on diverse issues, such as financial transformations with themes like process optimization, Shared Services, ERP implementations, digitalization, and AI, or strengthening financial steering and decision-making, with themes such as cost and profitability management, planning, budgeting & forecasting, Record-to-Report, and ESG reporting.
As a Senior Manager, you are a strategic sparring partner for clients and colleagues. You lead large and complex projects, translate complex issues into clear strategic recommendations, and ensure the successful realization of impactful changes. You actively build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and identify new opportunities for our services from these relationships. Additionally, you coach colleagues in their development, share your expertise within the organization, and actively contribute to the further development and growth of our propositions.
What you'll do
- Advising organizations at a strategic level on the design of a future-proof finance function and performance management.
- Leading large and complex, potentially international projects within the CFO domain, where you bear responsibility for the substantive direction, progress, and quality, and lead and coach multidisciplinary project teams.
- The (re)designing and optimizing of the finance function, from target operating models and processes to data, governance, and technology.
- Improving financial steering and management information, with themes such as cost and profitability management, planning, budgeting & forecasting, Record-to-Report, and ESG reporting.
- Identifying and translating trends, market developments, and technological innovations into innovative solutions for clients and the further development of our propositions.
- Initiating and developing commercial opportunities with existing and new clients and translating client issues into distinctive proposals and new assignments.
- Building and maintaining sustainable relationships with senior stakeholders and partners and acting as a strategic sparring partner for complex issues.
