As a Junior Project Engineer / Consultant, you may decide for yourself what a day looks like. You will spend the largest part of your time on location at the client. Here, as a Young Professional, you will work on your own project. The types of projects vary and are categorized based on your interests. Think of IT, data, dashboarding, sustainability, and asset management. From working on your own project, two options are open to you. Is there sufficient work within your project and could you use extra hands? Then you can grow into a project manager. In this role, you will deploy students on the project, monitor the execution of the projects, discuss progress, and steer the students in the right direction where necessary. The other option is to delve deeper into the project. In this case, you will grow into a consultant.

As a project engineer / consultant, you stand at the foundation of the operation. In this way, you ensure that Ivy executes fantastic projects. Projects are successful when we have satisfied customers and employees and can demonstrate significant improvement. This can be achieved, for example, by devising a faster way of working or applying innovative ideas that allow for more efficient, sustainable, and/or faster work.

At Ivy, we work on many different projects, so the topics of the projects you will be assigned to also vary! A few examples are:

• Setting up and designing a new maintenance methodology to reduce malfunctions and subsequent production loss at a large brewery. For this, you will look at the extent to which assets are critical and you will enter the brewery to talk to mechanics and supplement data. You will therefore also be present at the forefront of production!
• Establishing an IT Asset Management system in the field of Software Asset Management. You will help the construction company gain control over costs, increase performance, and reduce risks.
• Work with a model that we have developed to make energy flows and waste in the company transparent and to improve upon them. Do your part in the energy transition!

As ambitious as we are, we want to make the Netherlands the most innovative economy in the world. Old-fashioned organizational models do not fit that. At Ivy, we work in the Semco style.
