• A salary of € 3,720,- gross, including a mobility allowance of €750,- & 8% holiday allowance (based on 40 hours).

Do you want to contribute to innovative production and automation environments where technology is deployed to make a real impact? As a Junior Automation Engineer, you will get the chance to work directly on challenging projects within Smart Manufacturing. Thanks to our Academy, guidance from experienced colleagues, and a strong network of specialists, you will quickly develop yourself into a fully qualified automation professional.

In this role, you will work on:

• Designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for clients within sectors such as Life Sciences, Sustainable Energy, Infrastructure, and High-Tech.
• Optimizing production processes through PLC, SCADA, DCS, and MES solutions.
• Connecting systems and equipment via system integration and IIoT solutions within modern production environments.
• Collaborating with Capgemini colleagues, clients, and suppliers of hardware and software solutions.
• Innovative projects where you deploy technology to make processes smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable.

You have:

• A completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Biomedical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Interest in industrial automation and Smart Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of or affinity with the ISA-95 model and technologies such as PLC, SCADA, DCS, or MES.
• Strong communication skills and the motivation to collaborate with clients and colleagues.
• The willingness to continuously develop yourself and learn to apply new technologies, including AI, within your field.
• A curious attitude and interest in how technology makes processes smarter and more sustainable.
