Requirements
What we're looking for
You have at least five years of relevant work experience in software engineering, software development, or a similar technical role.
You have HBO or WO level of work and thinking and a solid technical foundation. You understand how to design and build robust software.
You are curious about AI-driven software development and agentic coding. You actively follow developments and enjoy experimenting with new tools, techniques, and ways of working.
You can translate technical possibilities into concrete business value. You look beyond the code and want to understand how an organization works, where processes get stuck, and what can actually be improved.
You are analytically strong, ask the right questions, and dare to challenge existing assumptions.
You can switch easily between technology, business, and strategy. You explain complex topics clearly and know how to bring people along in your story.
You take initiative, think ahead, and do not wait for someone to tell you what the next step is.
Nice to have
You get energy from sharing knowledge, inspiring colleagues, and turning new ideas into working solutions.
Experience with AI is a plus, but you don't need to be a seasoned AI specialist yet. We find it more important that you have a strong engineering foundation, follow developments seriously, and have the motivation and ability to deepen your knowledge in this area quickly.
Pay & benefits
What you'll get
A salary between €4,500 and €6,500 per month based on 40 hours + 8 percent holiday allowance.
An unlimited training budget, without student debt.
An electric lease car of your choice or an extra €520 gross and a mileage allowance.
An NS-Business Card for your business trips (and private trips, if you do not use a lease car).
27 vacation days, 10 can be purchased, flexible religious holidays
A premium-free pension.
Every 4 years, a €2,250 budget to pick-your-own laptop & gear.
The opportunity to become a shareholder (and thus be a co-owner of Incentro together with 150+ other colleagues).
Mastery money: an annual allowance of €650 to unleash your potential. You choose what helps you get the best out of yourself: a Spanish course, a holiday, or new running shoes. It's up to you!
Monthly expense & sports allowance and a contribution for setting up your home working space.
A team where serious attention is paid to diversity & inclusivity and where you are supported in both physical and mental health.
Incentro offers much more besides. Together we organize the necessary drinks, parties, or multi-day 'getaways together'... Every year we go on Wincentrosport together and see colleagues organizing workations collectively. Do you want to know more about our secondary employment conditions? Then look in our handbook!
And of course, there is room for everything that makes Incentro special besides work: from knowledge sessions and joint activities to drinks, Wincentrosport, and workations.
The role
Are you helping to build the next generation of software development?
Software building is changing at lightning speed. With agentic coding, new ways are emerging to translate complex problems into smart, scalable solutions. At Incentro, we are looking for someone who doesn't just follow these developments, but brings them into practice. Someone who understands software, comprehends business processes, and helps organizations discover what is possible.
Within Low Code Solutions, we build software every day that helps organizations move forward. But the way we do that is constantly in motion. AI and agentic coding offer new possibilities to design, develop, and improve software. This requires more than just knowledge of the latest tools. It requires engineers who understand how software works, think critically about architecture, and know which problems are worth solving.
That is why we are looking for an Agentic Engineering Lead who wants to be at the forefront of this development. You combine solid technical knowledge with a sharp eye for business and help our clients and colleagues leverage the possibilities of AI-driven software development.
You will become an important driver of this movement within Low Code Solutions. Not through a theoretical story, but by experimenting, building solutions, sharing knowledge, and showing what is possible in practice.
What you'll do
From business problem to software solution. You dive into organizations, map out processes, and identify where the real challenges and opportunities lie. You translate these into concrete technical solutions that add value.
Building with AI and agentic coding. You experiment with AI-driven development methods, coding agents, and agentic workflows. You know how to build software and continuously investigate how to do it smarter, faster, and with better quality.
Making technical choices. You think about architecture, scalability, integrations, security, maintainability, and quality. You know when AI accelerates a solution and when human expertise or a different approach is needed.
Advising and providing direction. You brainstorm with clients and colleagues about the possibilities of new technology. You ask critical questions, make complex subject matter understandable, and help others make well-founded choices.
Setting a movement in motion. You take the lead in the development of AI within Low Code Solutions. You share insights, organize experiments and knowledge sessions, and help colleagues to actually apply new ways of working.
Looking ahead and innovating. You closely follow developments in the fields of AI, software engineering, and agentic coding. You know how to distinguish between an interesting hype and a development that can truly change the way we build software.
What do you bring?
We are looking for a solid engineer with a broad perspective. Someone who combines technical depth with business insight and gets energy from exploring new possibilities.
How we work
Our CBAM values form the basis of how we work:
Camaraderie - We are more than just colleagues. Together we build a pleasant and open working environment in which we support, challenge, and inspire each other. Together we celebrate successes and stand ready for one another, both professionally and personally.

Autonomy - We take ownership and are given the freedom to shape our own work. No micromanagement, but trust in your expertise. You decide for yourself how to achieve the best result, and are given the space to grow in that.
Mastery - Growth never stops. We inspire each other to continuously improve, not only through knowledge sessions, hackathons, and deep dives, but also with a personal growth path that aligns with your ambitions. We challenge each other to learn, experiment, and deepen our knowledge.
We work together regularly at the office so that we can switch quickly, brainstorm, and strengthen each other. Here, you don't just build impactful data solutions, but also an inspiring, open, and convivial working environment. 🚀
