Low-code Developer (IT retraining program)

You start with... escaping from Alcatraz. In our unique, self-developed learning program, you will learn the basic principles of Mendix in a practical manner. Each level brings you closer to your 'freedom': ready to make a real impact as a developer.

And even during this 'escape', you will already get the chance to apply your new skills to one of our ongoing client projects.

After that, you will continue with:

• Improving and optimizing existing low-code applications for diverse clients. As you gain more experience, you will develop further and increasingly build low-code applications independently.

• Translating client challenges into smart, user-friendly, and future-proof solutions.

• Making technical choices and solving complex problems.

• Collaborating with clients and colleagues to turn ideas into concrete solutions.

• Expanding your knowledge of low-code development, architecture, and relevant technologies.

• Developing your advisory skills and your role as a consultant, if that aligns with your ambitions.

You will get the space to take initiative, ask questions, and take responsibility. You don't need to be able to do everything already: we primarily find it important that you want to learn and want to take steps.

This role is for IT professionals who are ready for a next step and want to expand their technical or consultancy skills.

Think, for example, of:

• The low-code developer: you have experience with Mendix, OutSystems, or another low-code platform and want to work on more challenging projects, have more client contact, or develop into a full-fledged consultant.

• The IT consultant: you have experience in IT consultancy, but want to deepen your technical knowledge and start building more yourself.

• The developer: you have experience with front-end, back-end, or software development and want to discover what low-code development has to offer you.

• The business analyst or project manager: you understand IT issues and organizations, and want to expand your technical skills so that you can also realize solutions yourself.
  
  Whichever route you choose, we look at your experience, interests, and ambitions. Based on that, we will determine together what your development can look like.

You do not have to meet every point. We are primarily curious about what you can already do and in what you want to grow further.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience within IT, preferably in a consultancy environment.

• HBO or WO level of professional and intellectual thinking.

• Interest in technology and the ambition to further develop yourself in this area.

• Experience with Mendix, OutSystems, Power Platform, or another low-code platform is a plus.

• Experience with software development, IT consultancy, business analysis, or project management is a good foundation.

• You are client-oriented, communicate easily, and enjoy collaborating.

• You dare to give your opinion, ask questions, and take initiative.

• You feel at home in an environment that is constantly in motion and in which you are given the freedom to provide direction to your own work.

• You have excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.

• A salary between € 3,000 and € 4,800 gross per month, depending on your relevant experience and knowledge, plus 8% holiday allowance.

• A lease budget or € 520 gross per month, supplemented with a mileage allowance.
