Data Engineer

• A completed HBO or WO degree

• At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role

• Demonstrable experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, etc.

• Knowledge of programming languages and query languages such as SQL, Python, Scala, etc.

• Ability to design solutions that meet security and compliance requirements

• Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

As a Data Engineer, you leverage advanced Business Intelligence tools to unlock data from diverse sources and transform it into a powerful 'data warehouse'. With this, you lay the foundation for advanced analyses and reports that are crucial for strategic decision-making and operational optimization. • Designing and implementing data solutions and architectures

• Extracting, transforming, and loading data (ETL) from various sources

• Working with modern (Cloud) technology in the data field

• Optimizing data processes for performance and scalability

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions

• Maintaining and monitoring data flows and systems

As a Data Engineer, you will be employed by Centric and deployed to one or more clients. The diversity in work location, which is a maximum of one hour from home, allows you to get acquainted with many organizations. This way, you continue to develop within your field. Together with your Field Manager, you will draw up a development plan, and together you will determine which courses, training, and assignments suit your development wishes. Finally, you will become part of the professional group (EC), in which knowledge sharing and mutual coaching with colleagues is central.
