Junior Consultant Health

• MSc degree in a medical and technical field, for example Health Informatics, Clinical Informatics, Medical Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, Technical Medicine, Clinical Technology.

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written (due to client needs); 

• Creativity and a conceptual and analytical mindset 

• You are able to make complex strategic issues understandable in clear language  

• You have an affinity with digitalization and data exchange in healthcare 

• You can – and want to – work in a multidisciplinary team

• A gross monthly salary between € 3,100 and € 3,500 based on 40 hours excluding holiday allowance (holiday allowance is paid out monthly);

As a Junior Consultant Health, you will support various types of organizations, ranging from healthcare providers and insurers to MedTech companies and national healthcare networks, in this transition.

As an integral part of the Health sector team, you will respond to new developments and deal with challenges in the sector. You will work on strategy development, the integration of new solutions, and digitalization initiatives to bridge the gap between demand and possibilities in healthcare. Internally, you will work from the IG&H office, where you will develop new proposals and contribute to the company's expertise.

As a Junior Consultant (referred to internally as an analyst), you will be part of a team that guides our clients through their (digital) transformation in healthcare. We support them in becoming more sustainable and transforming their healthcare practices from traditional to digital. You will become familiar with the latest innovations in data and technology, which are used as accelerators to improve patients' lives and alleviate pressure in terms of costs and staff shortages. This also includes (policy) frameworks and strategies for the health information system, digital data exchange, and data availability within the care and welfare network.

At times, you will help organizations facing immediate complex challenges that require rapid action. At other times, you will support executives and organizations in preparing for future developments. This requires flexibility, entrepreneurship, and the willingness to go the extra mile when the situation calls for it.

During projects, you will engage in client and market analysis, preparing advisory reports, giving presentations and workshops, maintaining regular contact with your project team, and of course, interacting with clients and stakeholders. You will work not only on healthcare-related issues but also on themes such as governance, financial management, organizational development, and digitalization.
