RAMS Engineer

· You have completed at least a higher professional education (HBO) in a technical direction (preferably technical business administration or maintenance management);

· You have knowledge of maintenance methodologies such as FMECA, RCM, RCA

· You have knowledge of RAMS analyses and LCC calculations

· You have extensive relevant work experience;

· Knowledge of and experience with ISO55001 is a plus

· Knowledge of the German language is a plus

· You possess excellent oral and written skills in the Dutch and English languages.

We offer you a challenging and independent full-time position in and around the beautiful city of The Hague. The position is rewarded in salary group 11 of the HTM collective labor agreement (CAO) with an associated salary between € 5,422.- and 7,503.- gross per month. Depending on your knowledge and experience, there is the possibility that you will first be placed in the introductory scale as a Maintenance Engineer, scale 10.

The Vehicles department is set up to ensure the availability and reliability of our trams, buses, and supporting assets. Vehicle management plays an important role in this; asset management is assigned to the Vehicle Management Manager. Together with their maintenance engineers and technical specialists, they support colleagues in operations by contributing their expertise, draw up the asset management plan, devise technical modifications, and are responsible for the maintenance concept. The RAMS engineer is a new role in this team. In addition to technical knowledge regarding reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety, you have a natural authority that makes you a go-to person for the maintenance engineer colleagues. You act as their heat shield and ensure that your colleagues can work well. The Vehicle Management Manager is the hierarchical supervisor and holds the role of asset manager. You are the sparring partner to the manager in the field of maintenance engineering for the Vehicles department. The RAMS engineer promotes internal and external cooperation by creating good understandings and emphasizing common goals and interests. You are known as a specialist and actively contribute to maintaining the knowledge and skills of the club of maintenance engineers at the required level. Through critical analysis, you know how to determine and monitor the desired quality with the aim of optimizing the performance of our assets. Your focus in this position lies not only with strategic assets but also with critical assets such as lift bridges, wash stations, and sand filling installations.

As a RAMS Engineer, you are responsible for the entire lifecycle. This starts with the initial maintenance concept and the FMECA of the assets and ends with the RAMS analyses before and after an investment. You are an advisor to the asset manager in the context of investment processes.
