Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is one of the largest international law firms in the world. From our office in Amsterdam, we offer the best of both worlds: the high-end international practice of a global firm and an open, collegial working environment with short lines of communication.
You will work together with colleagues from different legal areas, sectors, and countries on complex legal issues for leading clients. Innovation & Inclusion and Responsible Business are important pillars within our firm. Therefore, we invest not only in our people, but also in innovation, pro bono work, and social impact.
What can you expect?
As a working student, you will be part of our Global Regulatory unit approximately two days a week for three months. The unit deals with European and Dutch regulation of the Life Sciences sector (medicines, biotechnology, medical devices, and food). Regular advice is provided, and sometimes litigation is conducted, in the areas of market authorization, permits, advertising and sponsorship, pricing and health insurance, medical scientific research, contracts, supervision, and fines. Our clients are primarily innovative pharmaceutical and/or biotech companies.
Your tasks are broad and diverse, ranging from analyzing various legal issues, writing internal memos, blogs, and draft advice, to preparing presentations. Additionally, you are of course welcome at all our social activities. This ensures everything is covered during your working student period, giving you a good idea of what it is like to be part of Hogan Lovells Cadwalader.
