The Role

Kyndryl delivers IT services to the Ministry of Defence under one of the largest IT contracts in the Netherlands. As a Senior Contract Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the integrity of that contract, both operationally and financially. You are employed by Kyndryl and work for our client, Defence.

In this role, you are the point of contact for all contractual issues, both towards the client and within Kyndryl. You operate at a senior level, with direct access to management on both sides.

Your responsibilities
- Monitoring contractual agreements and ensuring compliance by both Kyndryl and the client.
- Managing all contract changes, from the initial request to formal documentation.
- Negotiating changes with the procurement organization and the client's business.
- Coordinating with Kyndryl's commercial organization to ensure proposals are feasible and priced according to market standards.
- Working closely with the RFS manager, who guides requests for new services.
- Maintaining control over the financial side of the contract: the relationship between agreements, delivery, and invoicing.
- Identifying contractual risks and advising management in a timely and substantiated manner.

Who You Are

What we ask
- Extensive experience in contract management, preferably at a large IT service provider or in IT outsourcing.
- Demonstrable negotiation experience at a senior level.
- Strong financial insight into the structure and execution of contracts.
- Experience in a role involving intensive client contact.
- A structured and independent way of working, even when many things are happening simultaneously.

- Excellent command of Excel and Word.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

Pré's
- Experience in leading a team or coordinating work activities.

- Experience at or with Defence or another government organization, and familiarity with their way of working.

Nationality and screening
Dutch nationality is required for this position. Because you perform work for Defence, you will undergo a screening by the Dutch government. You will start in the position following a positive outcome, the Certificate of No Objection (VGB).

Work location
You will work on-site at the client's location in Utrecht and at the Kyndryl office in Hoofddorp. After the onboarding period, partial working from home is possible, in consultation with your manager.
