Keen to become part of a truly global, collaborative team of professionals? Your journey begins here.
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is one of the largest international law firms in the world. From our office in Amsterdam, we offer the best of both worlds: the high-end international practice of a global firm and an open, collegial working environment with short lines of communication.
You will work together with colleagues from different legal areas, sectors, and countries on complex legal issues for leading clients. Innovation & Inclusion and Responsible Business are important pillars within our firm. Therefore, we invest not only in our people, but also in innovation, pro bono work, and social impact.
What can you expect?
As a working student, you will work approximately two days a week for three months on a know-how project for the Corporate unit. The project concerns new and recent developments in the field of corporate law, both to keep the know-how within the unit up to date and to inform clients. Your tasks are broad and diverse, ranging from researching relevant parliamentary documents and literature, writing memos, circulating updates within the office, and drafting newsletters for clients. Additionally, you are of course welcome at all our social activities. This ensures everything is covered during your working student period, giving you a good idea of what it is like to be part of Hogan Lovells Cadwalader.
Who are you?
You are an enthusiastic and ambitious student in the final stage of your law studies (WO);
You take initiative and possess good communication and social skills;
You have a strong ability to maintain perspective and an eye for detail;
You have excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
