The role

As a Senior Specialist Transport, you will be part of a team of six specialists responsible for a reliable flow of goods via air, sea, and road transport. Together, you will ensure the control of transport flows, involving daily coordination with logistics service providers, the distribution center, and colleagues at the head office. Based on forecasts, analyses, and market developments, you will manage timely availability, performance, and transport costs. You will manage and optimize transport networks, monitor KPIs, initiate improvements, and play an important role in tenders and supplier management. In an environment where trade routes, capacity, and delivery times are constantly changing, you will maintain an overview, identify risks in a timely manner, and work together with internal and external partners to ensure appropriate solutions. This keeps the flow of goods reliable and manageable.

Managing and optimizing transport networks and logistics service providers.
Analyzing transport KPIs (costs, OTIF, lead times, capacity).
Initiating improvement projects.
Organizing tenders for logistics contracts.
Identifying and mitigating transport-related risks.
