What does a day as a social media intern at HBM Machines look like?
You start your day at our office in Waddinxveen. As soon as you arrive, you first grab a nice piece of fruit and walk towards your own desk at the brand team. There, you sit right in the creative heart of HBM Machines.
Together with the team, you begin with a short daily start: just checking in on what is on the schedule today and who is working on what. After that, you get straight to work on the Instagram Stories that need to go live this afternoon. It involves a collaboration with a well-known YouTuber. You coordinate the final details to get everything perfect.
Later in the morning, you dive into a brainstorm together with the team. A new campaign is coming soon, and you come up with fresh ideas to launch it grandly on social media. Nothing is too crazy; that is exactly what makes it fun.
Around lunchtime, the office suddenly smells delicious: one of your colleagues has made sausage rolls. So, a cozy lunch with the team, followed by an enthusiastic game of table tennis in the canteen (winning is allowed, but participating is more important).
In the afternoon, you get in the car with the content team towards a cool shoot location. Today we are filming with an F2 racer, and you are there to capture the behind-the-scenes footage for our socials. You think along, film, and create a preview for our followers. Ready to let HBM shine behind the scenes.
A dynamic internship position within a growing and innovative company.
Making real impact on the social media of a strong brand.
The chance to learn from experienced marketers, photographers, and videographers.
Professional tools and a modern workplace.
The chance to work on the development of our in-house agency
Space for your ideas and creative input.
A pleasant working atmosphere and enthusiastic colleagues.
HBM Machines once began as a tool shop in Gouda. Since then, we have grown into a strong European brand in machines and tools. We grew large with one simple thought: good tools for a fair price. In the past five years, we have tripled in size and we are far from finished growing. Today, we are active in multiple European countries, with both a powerful e-commerce organization and a physical store. And that international expansion? That will only continue in the coming years.
Behind that growth lies a modern and ambitious organization. We work data-driven, continuously invest in improvement, and have firmly laid the foundation for the future. Think of a new warehouse of 36,000 m², modern offices, a completely renovated webshop, and a technological landscape that is ready for further scale.
But HBM is more than numbers and growth. You will find yourself in cozy, down-to-earth teams where hard work is done, but also laughter. The lines are short, the mentality is hands-on, and you get a lot of freedom and responsibility to make a real impact.
Whether you work on our webshop, logistics, marketing, or international growth: your work contributes directly to the success of HBM.
HBM Machines is growing. Will you grow with us?
