Operator 5 Shifts (All Genders) in the Netherlands

• A completed MBO3/MBO4 education in a technical field (preferably WTB, AOT or Automotive Technology);
• Demonstrable insight and affinity with technology (you are a true "tinkerer");
• You are willing to work in 5 shifts (full-time);
• You have the mentality: "you work safely or you don't work at all";
• You have a positive attitude and enjoy solving malfunctions;
• You are willing to follow additional relevant training;
• You see yourself as a team player with a high sense of responsibility;
• Experience as an operator in the metal industry is a plus.

• This position is scaled in Zuivel CAO 5 (€3111.93 to €3972.02 based on 36 hours) excl. 5-shift allowance 28.7%, your salary will be based on your experience and education;

In the can factory in Leeuwarden, cans are made from steel coils. There are various production lines where you could work, such as the coating line, welding line, and pressing line, for example. We are looking for a true tinkerer. Especially when you have a background in metal (WTB) or automotive technology, you will feel right at home in this working environment!
The following activities also belong to your package of tasks:

• Coordinating and adjusting production lines during product changeovers;
• Quality control;
• Mechanical adjustment of the production lines and replacement of wear parts;
• Maintenance and cleaning activities of the working environment;
• Correct registration of production orders in the systems;
• Supporting the technical service during overhauls;
• Participating in an improvement process to improve the production lines.

At our production location in Leeuwarden, we work with over 700 colleagues from various backgrounds in different disciplines. Every day we are busy producing high-quality condensed milk products. Our market share of all consumed condensed milk products worldwide is 10 percent. To achieve this, more than 700 million liters of milk flow through our pipes and our high-tech installations every year. But it doesn't stop there, because we also take care of the entire processing and packaging process. This is how we make the packaging material (the cans) in the 'Can Factory' in which the products are packed. Once these cans are filled, closed, and labeled, they are packed in boxes and stored on pallets in the warehouse.
