We are looking for someone with HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level who works neatly, orderly, and accurately, but is also fast-paced, eager to learn, enthusiastic, and proactive. You don't wait for someone to tell you what needs to be done, but you see for yourself where you can help and take initiative. You enjoy working project-based and multiple projects at once is no problem for you.
You are a true team player and enjoy working in a small team where we all put our shoulders to the wheel together. At the same time, you can work independently and take responsibility for your own activities.
Because our inspectors and customers are active both in the Netherlands and internationally, good communication is important. Therefore, you command both Dutch and English at a B2-C1 level, in speech and writing.
Do you already have knowledge of the offshore and maritime world? That's a great bonus. Do you not have it yet, but do you get enthusiastic about ships, offshore, technology, and the rapidly growing world of offshore wind? Then we would love to introduce you to that world. We find your interest, curiosity, and willingness to learn at least as important.
The position of Planner is relatively new within our organization. This means that not everything is set in stone yet. You will get plenty of room to further shape the position together with us, to develop yourself, and to grow with our organization. For someone with ambition, this can therefore be a beautiful step towards more responsibility in the future.
You are customer-oriented and language-proficient, both in Dutch and English, in speech and writing (level B1)
You possess HBO working and thinking level and preferably have 3 years of work experience in a similar role
You enjoy being the linchpin and like to send your colleagues on their way well-prepared
You are handy with a computer and quickly master new systems
You have technical insight and an interest in the maritime / offshore world
You are solution-oriented and can switch gears quickly
Do you enjoy being the linchpin in an operational and dynamic environment? Are you good at organizing, can you switch gears quickly, and do you enjoy working together with colleagues and customers? Are you handy with computers, do you love maintaining an overview, and do you get energy from multiple things happening at once? Then we would love to meet you.
For our location in Den Helder, we are looking for a full-time Planner (m/f).
As a Planner, you will support our inspection coordinator in organizing and preparing our daily inspection activities. You are a crucial link between our inspection coordinator, our customers, and our inspectors on the road.
Together with the inspection coordinator, you ensure that our inspectors go out well-prepared. A complete assignment, a clear schedule, and the right story: our inspectors must know exactly where they are going, what they are going to do, and what they need for it. You ensure that the information is correct, the necessary materials and tools are available, and that our inspectors lack nothing.
No two days are the same. Multiple assignments and projects run simultaneously and schedules can change. You actually enjoy that. You maintain an overview, set priorities, and switch easily between customers, colleagues, projects, and computer systems. Outlook holds few secrets for you and you quickly master new systems.
You will join a small and dedicated team within a large international organization. An environment where much happens and in which you get the opportunity to think along, take responsibility, and further develop yourself.
In addition, we offer:
A full-time position (38.75) from our location in Den Helder
A yearly contract with a view to a permanent appointment
A market-competitive salary
A monthly choice budget of 18.4% of the monthly salary (incl. holiday pay). With this, you can, for example, purchase extra vacation days or fund a bicycle or sports subscription in a tax-efficient manner. Simply having it paid out is also possible, of course
Various collective insurances, including health insurance and other personal insurances
A company phone and laptop
Plenty of opportunities to develop yourself and grow along with the position and our organization
The advantages of an international company combined with the personal atmosphere of a family business
And of course the annual Peterson party
Does this appeal to you and are you looking for a responsible and important position in a young and dynamic team within our beautiful family business? Then get in touch, because we would love to meet you!
We are Control Union Testing and Inspection, part of Peterson Nederland B.V. We are a technical inspection company focusing on the offshore and maritime market. We inspect, among other things, all kinds of lifting and hoisting tools, work equipment, and other (drilling) tools.
From our locations in Den Helder and IJmuiden, we work with over 35 colleagues every day towards one important goal: making our customers' working environment a little bit safer.
Our roots lie in the offshore oil and gas industry, and we are still fully active there. But our world is changing fast - and we are moving with it. In a short time, we have successfully gained a foothold in the offshore wind industry. We are now performing inspection activities within this rapidly growing market, and our ambition is clear: we want to build strongly on this in the coming years.
With this, we are in the middle of an interesting development. We are bringing our years of offshore knowledge and technical expertise to a market that plays an important role in the energy transition. For new colleagues, this means you are not just joining an organization that has existed for more than 100 years, but also a team that is fully engaged in the next phase.
We are part of a family business from Rotterdam with over 5,000 colleagues worldwide. At the same time, our own team feels small, personal, and entrepreneurial. The lines are short, we work closely together, and when we see opportunities anywhere, we want to go for it.
We are growing, see plenty of opportunities, and have the ambition to continue building our services. We are broadening our service package, developing new activities, and further building our position within, among other things, offshore wind. We are looking for people to join us who have that same energy: colleagues who want to move forward, take responsibility, want to go that extra mile, and want to grow with us.
