Manager Forensic in the Audit

• A completed Master's degree in Accountancy or another relevant financial and/or forensic-related field of study.
• At least 6 years of work experience in accountancy and/or forensic experience, including demonstrable experience with project management.
• Demonstrable affinity with integrity and forensic issues.
• Strong leadership skills that empower the team.
• An inquisitive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, being strong both orally and in writing in the Dutch and English languages.
• You are analytically strong, can apply stylistic flexibility, and are a team player with a critical, professional attitude.

Your new job | About your key responsibilities
As a Manager within the Forensic in the Audit team of Forensic & Integrity Services, you play an essential role as a fraud specialist in statutory audits. You support EY Assurance Audit teams in identifying and following up on potential fraud and non-compliance risks. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, you coordinate forensic activities and ensure efficient execution, while monitoring quality, deadlines, and budgets.

You are responsible for flagging risks and incidents, and you are involved in audit work when there are indications of fraud. Additionally, you lead project teams and challenge EY Assurance Audit teams and clients with your forensic knowledge and experience. You develop strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, and maintain deep forensic expertise to effectively tackle complex issues.

Forensic & Integrity Services is a fast-growing department within our organization. Our Forensic & Integrity Services professionals focus on advisory regarding compliance and integrity issues, as well as investigations into integrity breaches. For example, our professionals help organizations with investigations into procurement fraud, analysis in business disputes, investigations following bankruptcy, or the preparation of legal proceedings. Additionally, our team supports EY Audit teams with work related to fraud, corruption, money laundering, and regulatory compliance.

Our office in Amsterdam is located at the Zuidas: a vibrant location where many companies are based. In our Cross Towers, as many as 1500 people are welcomed every day upon arrival.
