- You have a completed university degree (WO) in tax law or tax economics;
- You have at least 5 years of relevant tax work experience;
- You are willing to follow the three-year program of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB) or have already started it;
- You have an affinity for cross-border labor;

Your new job | About your key responsibilities
What you'll do
Our People Advisory Services (PAS) practice helps organizations develop and support their mobility programs. Additionally, we advise them on complex tax issues regarding payroll taxes, (related) reporting obligations, and the risks associated with the global deployment of employees.
Within our PAS Global Mobility team in The Hague, we are looking for a Manager with experience in or an affinity for cross-border labor.
As a Manager within PAS Global Mobility, you will work in an international, diverse, and enthusiastic team and will work to advise our (international) clients regarding the tax and social security aspects of cross-border labor. No two workdays are the same! You act as a linchpin, where one moment you are contacting colleagues abroad and the next you may be in conversation with the employer, the employee, or the Tax Authorities. You will also be involved in developing or optimizing clients' mobility programs so that employees can be deployed optimally worldwide. There are also plenty of opportunities to specialize within PAS in the fields of restructuring, employee participation, international social security, and many other possibilities.
You will work to help our clients manage the complex compliance, reporting, and risks directly related to the global deployment of employees. You will do this by:
- Thinking along with international organizations regarding their global strategy for their mobility program and the tax and social security implications thereof for their employees;
- Ensuring that organizations are informed about compliance with existing and new legislation and other relevant developments regarding cross-border labor;
- Maintaining contact with your clients' employees to inform them of the tax and social security implications of working cross-border;
- Delving into tax and social security laws, regulations, and case law. Additionally, you will gain experience in how this legislation/case law works in practice;
- Advising our clients at a strategic level on the tax law and social security aspects of cross-border labor.

Basically, you will work from our office in The Hague, but flexible working (at home and at our other offices in Amsterdam, Utrecht, or Rotterdam) is also very much possible.
