Electrical Infrastructure Service Technician

You are a technician who enjoys working independently, does not shy away from technical challenges, and gets energy from varied activities. You think in solutions and find it important to deliver high-quality work.

In addition, you possess:

• An MBO diploma level 3 or 4 in Electrical Engineering;

• Driving license B;

• A VCA certificate, BEI-BLS and/or certificate for Safe Working along the Road, or the willingness to obtain these;

• Experience with electrotechnical installations is a plus;

• No fear of heights and a flexible attitude;

• Proficiency with tablets and digital work orders.

As an Electrical Infrastructure Service Technician at Van Vuuren Elektrotechniek, you work on public lighting, traffic control systems, and electrotechnical installations in public spaces. You are on the road a lot, work independently, and no two days are the same.

You start from home or from our location and head out to projects in Noord-Holland. One day you are solving a malfunction in a traffic control system, the next day you are performing maintenance on public lighting or replacing an installation.

You will receive your own company van, modern tools, and digital aids to perform your work well. You plan your activities largely independently and have a lot of freedom in your work. Of course, you are never alone; you can always rely on colleagues from work preparation, execution, or other technicians.

After a good induction period, you will also participate in the on-call service, so that malfunctions are also resolved quickly outside of office hours.

A glimpse of your activities

• Solving malfunctions in public lighting and traffic control systems;

• Performing maintenance and service activities;

• Inspecting and replacing installations;

• Registering activities via tablet;

• Identifying improvements, risks, and extra or reduced work;

• Advising clients and colleagues on technical solutions;

• Guiding colleagues when necessary.
