Infrastructure Cost Estimator in Rotterdam

• The salary for this position is between €4,291.61 and €6,256.72 gross per month (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.  

• On top of the salary, there is a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).  

• With a view to a long-term relationship, we offer you a permanent contract immediately.  

• 43 leave days according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

In the role of infrastructure cost estimator, you are responsible for preparing budgets from A to Z. You know what is required to get the job done. In fact, you have already completed the work in your head before you even begin!

New project requests require a good calculation. During the tender phase, you will work together with the team to find a smart way to fulfill the customer's request. You are curious and know how to ask the right questions to get a good understanding of the customer's wishes. A site visit is also part of this, so that you get an even better picture of the project. Based on the information provided, the specifications, and the drawings, you prepare a complete budget. You request quotes and negotiate where necessary. With your creativity in calculating, you know how to arrive at the most efficient bid, while always balancing safety, the interests of the client, and the interests of Dura Vermeer.

In addition to calculating, you look at all opportunities and potential risks of the project, and you look at the feasibility of the project. You also contribute to determining the phasing in the project and the working methods. You work on infrastructure projects up to 10 million euros. You are also involved in multidisciplinary projects where you are responsible for the cost, together with the civil cost estimator.
