In the role of senior manager, head of supply chain solutions, you combine strategic leadership with entrepreneurship and operational impact. Together with your teams, you translate customer needs and market developments into smart, scalable, and future-proof solutions. Deliver results? DSV!

You will make it happen
As senior manager supply chain solutions, you lead the SCS organization within the Benlukie cluster (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, UK, Ireland) and continuously develop it further, divided into three integrated pillars: Business Development, Solution Design & Implementation, and Program Management. You translate customer and market needs into scalable, digitally supported supply chain solutions that create demonstrable value for both customers and DSV; you contribute to this.

How do you do this? As product owner for the cluster and senior subject matter expert, you determine priorities, establish governance and performance standards, develop employees and competencies, and connect stakeholders at national, cluster, regional, and global levels. You increase the presence of SCS within the cluster, strengthen the quality and consistency of service delivery, and build a healthy commercial pipeline that contributes to profitable growth and long-term customer relationships. You achieve this by:

• determining and executing the SCS strategy for Benlukie, in alignment with Air & Sea, Regional, and Global SCS. You ensure that the product continuously evolves, aligns well with the market and the needs of customers and countries, and is rolled out in a uniform and scalable manner;
• leveraging market developments, commercial opportunities, customer needs, and operational insights by translating these into concrete solutions, services, and improvement initiatives. Additionally, you maintain continuous visibility on the development and performance of the product portfolio, the commercial pipeline, ongoing implementations, potential risks, and required investments;
• directing and further developing the commercial collaboration with Sales, Key Account Management, Product, and country management. You ensure good alignment between local, cluster, regional, and global levels, deploying the right expertise to win new customers and retain and further expand existing customer relationships;
• developing strong value propositions and commercially attractive customer solutions. You guide commercial processes from the initial customer need through to the design and implementation of solutions, ensuring clear agreements, healthy pricing, the right deployment of people and resources, and sustainable customer value;
• actively coaching, directing, and further developing the SCS cluster team (approximately 10 FTE). You ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and objectives, stimulate a culture of ownership, collaboration, and customer centricity, and align personnel capacity and organizational development with the current and future growth of the business;
• monitoring and directing the design, implementation, and program management of customer solutions. You ensure a structured approach, clear agreements, and a smooth transition to operations. Additionally, you focus on the continuous improvement of solutions, stimulating digital developments and operational excellence, so that you create demonstrable customer value, strengthen customer relationships, and bind customers to DSV for the long term.
• monitoring and directing the financial results and performance of the SCS organization and product portfolio. You are involved in annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and continuously monitor commercial growth, customer performance, implementation progress, and the deployment of resources. Based on data, customer feedback, and business results, you identify risks and opportunities in a timely manner and adjust where necessary.
