You ensure that the right items are present in the right quantity at the right place at the right time, so that the operation in the warehouse runs as smoothly as possible. Your workplace is the warehouse one moment and behind a screen the next to perform the correct analyses: you contribute to it.

How do you do this? You run various reports so that the right stocks can be managed more intelligently. So that the warehouse can be used as optimally as possible. As an inventory controller, you are responsible for planning, setting up, checking, and reporting on the physical stock within our warehouse. Additionally, you facilitate and coordinate the daily cycle counts. This is partly automated. You work daily with our drone system, with which we check a large part of the stock. The more accurately this is maintained and reported on, the better the processes in the warehouse run.

In your first year as an inventory controller, you will follow a number of training courses, through which you will know all the ins and outs of our warehouse management system in no time. You will achieve this by:

• identifying differences between the physical stocks and the stock data in the system;
• scheduling drone flights in the warehouse during non-operational hours and analyzing and evaluating the resulting reports;
• analyzing the turnover rate of products and determining the correct placement of products in the warehouse;
• analyzing stock discrepancies and coming up with a suitable solution. For now, but also for the future;
• processing inventoried data in our system, printing reports for management and operations, and independently performing analyses to arrive at proactive solutions.

• passion for the profession! You also know how to convey this to others!
• experience within a warehouse environment and/or in a similar role;
• good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
• extensive knowledge of Excel and you are able to quickly master new (warehouse management) systems;
• analytical ability in combination with a process-oriented and accurate way of working.
