DLA Piper Talent Days: 36 Hours to Closing

Finance x M&A

Are you a third-year bachelor or master's student of Dutch law and do you want to experience what it is like to work on transactions where every decision counts? During the DLA Piper Talent Days, you will step into an intensive deal simulation in which one question is central: will you get the deal to Closing on time?

On 26 and 27 November 2026, we welcome twelve selected students to our office in Amsterdam for an exclusive two-day experience at the intersection of Finance and M&A. From the moment you step inside, the clock is ticking.

You will work together with other ambitious law students on a complex transaction that is constantly changing. New information arrives, positions shift, and unexpected developments put pressure on the negotiations. Under time pressure, you must make strategic choices, weigh interests, and guide your team toward the finish line.

Under the active and direct guidance of our lawyers and partners, you will get a unique look behind the scenes of international transactional work. You will experience firsthand how deals are actually made and discover how legal expertise, commercial insight, and strategic thinking come together when there is a lot at stake.

But the action does not stop as soon as you leave the Deal Room. During exclusive social activities, a group dinner, and an overnight stay, you will also get to know our people outside of work. In this way, you will discover not only what it is like to work at DLA Piper, but especially how it feels to be part of a team working on the largest and most complex deals of the moment.
