IT Talent Acquisition Specialist

• At least 1-3 years of experience in a recruitment role, preferably within the IT/tech sector.
• Demonstrable experience in sourcing and selecting technical profiles such as software engineers, cloud specialists, data professionals, or similar IT roles
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English - you switch effortlessly between internal stakeholders and international candidates
• Ability to work independently and navigate a complex, multinational matrix organization with multiple stakeholders

• Affinity with technology and a sincere desire to continue learning in the areas of IT disciplines, recruitment tools, and market trends
• It is a plus if you bring agency experience
• Affinity with Artificial Intelligence and agentification: you are curious about how AI agents can be deployed to make recruitment processes smarter, faster, and more effective
• Knowledge of or experience within a large, international organization or consultancy environment
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, or cloud technologies
• Experience with employer branding or contributing to recruitment marketing initiatives
• A proactive attitude and a commercial mindset

As an IT Talent Acquisition Specialist, you make an impact by attracting the best IT talent for Cognizant in the Netherlands and beyond. You are a valued member of the Talent Acquisition team and work closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and stakeholders spread across an international, complex matrix organization.

• Independently managing the full recruitment process for technical IT profiles from intake through to offer, and building a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through active sourcing (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, networking, etc.)
• Acting as a strategic sparring partner for hiring managers and advising on the labor market, vacancy intakes, and recruitment strategies within a complex, international matrix organization
• Actively contributing to the improvement of recruitment processes, tooling, and employer branding initiatives, where you bring in your own ideas and embrace change
• Maintaining and expanding an external network of IT professionals and building talent pools for current and future vacancies
• Reporting on progress and KPIs via the ATS and ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout the entire process
