The role

We are looking for emerging talent throughout the year. Are you studying Tax Law or Fiscal Economics? Then apply for a position as a working student within our Tax practice group.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In short: a working student position is the perfect opportunity to experience what it is like to work at an international law firm and to get to know DLA Piper! Moreover, it could just happen that your working student position transitions into an appointment as a tax specialist. This working student position includes a market-conform salary and good employment conditions. Naturally, your (public transport) travel expenses will also be fully reimbursed.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a working student, you will participate fully in the practice for a longer period. You will perform research, prepare notes, and draft procedural documents and drafts. Furthermore, you may attend hearings, meetings with clients, and of course, you will attend the practice group meetings. It may also be that you are involved in (international) Pro Bono projects or activities, through which you can enrich your knowledge and experience and we can together give something back to society.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for students who are (almost) in the master's phase of their studies in Tax Law or Fiscal Economics and have previously completed an internship within commercial law or tax advisory practice. You are broadly interested in tax and legal matters and enjoy getting to know working in (international) teams on cross-border matters. Are you also available for at least 4 months for at least 2 days per week? Then apply quickly for this position!

About the company & team

During a working student position in our tax practice, you will become a full member of a team of tax advisors. You will share a room with an experienced colleague and will also be assigned a student supervisor and a buddy, who will guide you personally. Naturally, you are also very welcome at all social and professional events and can participate in our vitality program. Furthermore, our Tax practice group is fully integrated into our office, so you will work on a daily basis with the other practice groups and also participate in office-wide activities such as drinks and outings. In this way, you will get a good impression not only of the tax department, but also of the rest of the office!
