Working Student Notary Office

We are looking for emerging talent throughout the year. Are you studying Notarial Law? Then apply for a position as a working student in the Corporate or Real Estate notary practice at DLA Piper Amsterdam.

During a working student placement, you will become a full member of a team of (candidate) notaries and lawyers for 2 or 3 days per week. You will share an office with an experienced colleague and will also be assigned an internship supervisor and a buddy to guide you personally. Naturally, you are also very welcome at all social and professional events and can participate in our vitality program. Furthermore, our notary practice is fully integrated into our firm, so you will work on a daily basis with the other practice groups and also participate in firm-wide activities such as drinks, events, and outings. In this way, you will not only get a good impression of the notary practice but also of the rest of the firm, and you will quickly build a large network!

In short: a working student placement is the perfect opportunity to experience what it is like to work at an international law firm and to get to know DLA Piper! Moreover, it could very well happen that your working student placement transitions into an appointment as a candidate notary. This working student position includes a market-conform salary and good employment conditions. Naturally, your (public transport) travel expenses will also be fully reimbursed.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a working student, you will participate fully in practice for an extended period. You will conduct research, prepare notes, and draft procedural documents and drafts. Furthermore, you may attend meetings with clients and, of course, attend the practice group meetings. It is also possible that you will be involved in (international) Pro Bono projects or activities, through which you can enrich your knowledge and experience and we can together give something back to society.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for students who are (almost) in the master's phase of their Notarial Law studies. It is a plus if you have previously completed a notary internship within commercial law. You are broadly interested in legal matters and enjoy getting to know working in (international) teams on cross-border matters. Are you also available for (at least) 4 months for a minimum of 2 days per week? Then apply quickly for this position!
