Do you want to gain practical experience as a corporate law student in our MACM practice? Then this position as a working student at De Brauw in Amsterdam might be what you are looking for! As a working student, you will work approximately 15 hours per week, contributing long-term to ongoing matters. This is in contrast to a full-time two-month student internship.
Your work is a mix of know-how activities and practical support. You will conduct case law research, draft memos, assist with presentations on legal developments, and contribute to newsletters. You will participate in team meetings and analyze contractual provisions. You will work independently, but with support from your supervisors.
You gain relevant work experience that aligns with your studies, build a valuable network, and develop essential skills in multidisciplinary teams at the leading law firm. You will be guided by experts in the fields of M&A and Capital Markets. You will receive personal guidance with direct feedback and learn to tackle complex legal issues by working on real files.
Our MACM practice combines Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets. We advise corporate clients and financial institutions on acquisitions, initial public offerings (IPOs), private equity, acquisition financing and divestments of companies. The MACM group works closely with other practice groups to provide advice on all aspects of transactions, including corporate, contracts, employment, competition, financial and securities law. This multidisciplinary approach often involves international aspects.
