Do you want to gain practical experience in our Commercial Litigation practice at De Brauw in Amsterdam? If you are available for approximately 15 hours per week alongside your studies, then this position as a working student is exactly what you are looking for! As a working student, you will work structurally on ongoing files.
Your work is a mix of know-how activities and practical support. You will conduct literature and case law research, draft memos and presentations, and contribute to newsletters about the latest legal developments. You will participate in team meetings and support the team with complex disputes. You will work independently, but with support from your supervisors.
Due to the large number of high-profile cases, our focus on dispute and risk management, and our full-service litigation, we serve the 100 largest companies headquartered in the Netherlands. The cases we handle often attract great public interest and are politically sensitive. We offer support in complex mass claims, in both national and international contexts, and are experts in the fields of antitrust and cartel damage, consumer protection, human rights, and financial mass claims. We employ an integrated practice model to bring together specialists from different fields, and our teams consist of Dutch and international lawyers.
Why choose a role as a working student in Commercial Litigation?
You will gain relevant work experience that aligns with your studies, build a valuable network, and develop essential skills in multidisciplinary teams at a leading law firm. You will be guided by experts in the field of commercial litigation. You will receive personal guidance with direct feedback and learn to tackle complex legal issues by working on real files.
