Safety Engineering & Occupational Health & Safety Internship

At Crisp, we think about the future of groceries: as sustainable and as quickly as possible delivered to the customer's home. Preparing those groceries happens from our warehouse in Amsterdam, where a large team receives, collects, and sends out fresh products every day. A safe and healthy workplace for all those colleagues is not an afterthought for us, but the foundation. As a Safety Engineering intern, you help us make that foundation stronger every day: from the shop floor to the policy. Will you come and strengthen our team starting in January or February 2027?

Together with the Facility team, you ensure a well-running warehouse in Amsterdam. You help improve inventory management, internal transport equipment, maintenance, and processes. Additionally, you keep an eye on stock availability and support ad hoc projects and tasks. You also contribute to making the Crisp culture live even more throughout the entire organization. Your internship includes, among others, the following challenges:

• Together with the Facility team, you manage the supply, coordinate facility activities, and get to work with maintenance.

• You organize facility activities, such as process improvements, and investigate how we can reduce costs and work more sustainably.

• You play a role in projects to provide our warehouses with the right facility amenities.

• The Facility team supports all Crisp locations. From suppliers to other visitors: you are the first point of contact and support the warehouse with maintenance and project management.

• You think along about plans to expand and improve the facility amenities in our warehouse, so that we can save costs and work more efficiently.

• You help make it transparent where the costs in our maintenance process lie and where we can save the most.

• Together with the Facility team, you investigate the possibilities for cost savings in the facility area, in line with our core values.

For your HBO (Higher Professional Education) studies, you are looking for a full-time working internship. Additionally, you possess the following:

• You are currently following an HBO program.

• You are available for at least 5 months.

• You are available 32 to 40 hours per week for a working internship/research internship (in consultation).

• You are a representative and entrepreneurial colleague

• You are strong in planning and work in a structured manner.

• You are well able to work independently and proactively.

• You are a go-getter and are not afraid to take action yourself.

• You are detailed in your research and solution-oriented

• You are studying Facility Management / Business Administration / Technical Business Administration.
