As a Production Leader, you are responsible for the daily operations of the production department at Vers Bereid Door Crisp. You drive output, quality, and safety, but above all, structure, collaboration, and improvement. You translate what customers want into a production plan that is achievable. You help your team bring out the best in themselves and work with us to build a production department that is rock solid. You are the link between production, technical service, quality, logistics, and the office. In this way, you keep costs under control, ensure we deliver what we promise, and help us grow.
What you will do
You translate forecasts and orders into a realistic production plan and monitor it every day, based on customer demands and staff availability.
You lead the daily start, distribute the work, and set priorities. In the event of delays or malfunctions, you adjust accordingly.
You are visibly present on the floor and serve as the point of contact for operators, technical service, and quality employees.
You manage team leaders, operators, and support services toward results.
You promote and safeguard a culture of safety, discipline, openness, and responsibility.
Together with the team, you implement improvement actions: increasing OEE, shortening changeover times, and reducing waste.
You track and analyze the most important figures: output, yield, waste, and rejection. You report to management and make proposals based on data.
You ensure food safety and quality standards. You check quality records, monitor hygiene and HACCP, and prepare for audits.
You are the first point of contact during audits, deviations, and escalations.
You handle operational HR tasks: personnel planning, recruitment, onboarding, evaluating, and coaching team members, ensuring the team remains versatile and engaged.
You maintain an overview of raw material and packaging orders, inventory, and capacity, and coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and other departments.
You advise management on investments, capacity bottlenecks, and improvement initiatives.
You know your stuff, but more importantly: you bring people along. You are visible, honest, clear, and consistent.
You switch easily between floor-level details and broader business goals. You act quickly and think structurally.
Standing still is not for you. You want to constantly improve processes, waste, lead times, and performance.
You let nothing slip through your fingers. You safeguard standards together with your team, know your CCPs, and intervene when there are risks.
You work with dashboards, reports, and planning data and make decisions based on facts, not on feeling.
You provide calm, rhythm, and ownership. Colleagues know where they stand and grow under your guidance.
You know that production only runs well if quality, technical service, planning, and production truly work together. You are that bridge.
