Account Manager Corporate Sales - Clay Hospitality

• Salary in accordance with Job Group 7 of the Hospitality Collective Bargaining Agreement. Commensurate with your skills and experience.

• Travel allowance according to a sliding scale, at 23 cents per kilometer for one-way trips of 7.5 km or more, with a maximum of €205.83 per month.

Within Clay Hospitality, we are looking for an Account Manager Corporate Sales!

As Account Manager Corporate Sales, you are responsible for the corporate market and the various associated segments that we can facilitate with our hotels and event locations. You focus on optimizing existing corporate relationships and establishing new partnerships (global and local accounts), where you can be a partner for your relationships that can assist in almost all travel areas due to the diversity within our portfolio, regarding corporate transient, long stay (relocations & expats) and meetings & events.

You work closely with various teams within our company, particularly your colleagues from Reservations, Corporate Meetings & Special Events. You love to discover new opportunities within our organization that perform well commercially, help optimize existing locations, and prepare the company for further growth toward new locations.

With your commercial qualities, you achieve maximum results and provide your input to create budgets, which you and your colleagues within the sales department will then translate into an individual sales plan. You do this productively and, above all, with great enjoyment of your work. You are a team player and, in all your actions, you consider whether it will become a one-person show or if you will make it a duo performance with a colleague, so as to always engage in conversation professionally and with the right people. On a daily basis, you work not only with the sales team but also with the hotel and location managers with whom we will share the commercial success. You are primarily based in Hoofddorp, but you will also work from our location in Amsterdam.

• Actively recruiting new clients and maintaining relationships with existing accounts;

• Setting up and executing sales activities for regional, national, and international target groups;

• Identifying market developments and responding to commercial opportunities;

• Optimizing collaborations with external suppliers and partners;

• Devising, setting up, and coordinating sales activities, where you know how to find and challenge your colleagues from the marketing team;

• Optimizing reports and administrative processes;

• Collaborating with internal departments within Element by Marriott, Courtyard Amsterdam Airport, and Papa's Houses to generate leads;

• Proactively working the Expat & Relocation segment, including a number of visits to the UK per year.

You’re not afraid to pick up the phone, prefer to have lunch with a different client every day, and have an open coffee tab at your favorite hotel where quality always takes precedence over quantity. Your weekly schedule is filled with efforts to secure new partnerships, manage client relationships, and close corporate contracts, with the relocation and expat business being a key part of that.
