Independent Chef - Papa's Loft House

As an independent chef at Papa's Loft House in Amsterdam, you will have an important role in the kitchen, helping our guests discover the world and make memories. You will assist with preparation (mise en place), plating dishes for both the cold and hot stations, and you will participate in lunch, dinner, and events. You are the team player we are looking for!

PAPA'S LOFT HOUSE

10:00: Waking up gently and making a delicious breakfast

11:00: On the way to a busy day in the kitchen. 🔪 But, first.. a cup of coffee where you hear from the chef what is on the agenda for today.

11:30: Mise-en-place time: washing, cutting, searing, and making sauces. 🍽️

12:00: We are going to serve lunch; all plates will be beautifully presented by you.

15:00: After a busy lunch, you set everything ready for dinner. Some things still need to be prepared for that, and you ensure your station is completely ready.

16:00: You ensure that your colleagues also get something delicious to eat!

17:30: The first dinner guests arrive; it's time to go full throttle! 💪🏽

19:30: It's peak time! 🧀 🐟 🧂 Luckily, you love running and flying around.

22:30: A well-deserved drink with the whole crew! 🍺

• Over the past few years, you have developed into an independent chef;

• You can work independently and take the lead when necessary;

• You have knowledge of HACCP;

• You enjoy getting things done.

• Salary based on skills and experience (classification according to job scale V of the hospitality collective bargaining agreement) with room for growth.
