(Junior) Logistics Coordinator

Are you strong at planning, switching gears, and maintaining an overview? As a Logistics Coordinator at BioCore, you ensure that organic raw materials go from supplier to customer on time and efficiently. You work in an international trading environment, liaising with transporters, storage partners, and internal teams, and ensuring that the logistics process runs smoothly from start to finish.

To strengthen the current team, we are looking for a (Junior) Logistics Coordinator at BioCore.

In this role, you are responsible for coordinating road transport within Europe. You manage the planning, maintain an overview of orders, contracts, and inventories, and ensure good coordination between suppliers, customers, carriers, and storage partners. You also work closely with Trade and Finance.

• You plan and coordinate transports from supplier/storage location to customer

• You coordinate daily with transporters, storage partners, suppliers, and customers

• You manage and control contracts, orders, inventories, and invoicing

• You negotiate and monitor transport and storage rates

• You monitor transports and invoicing

• You check transport documentation

• You ensure the handling of samples and associated documentation.

• You switch gears quickly and work in a solution-oriented manner during unexpected situations.

• You maintain inventories, contract positions, and logistics positions

• You identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement

You are a strong communicator, accurate, and solution-oriented. You maintain an overview, work independently, and know how to switch quickly when planning changes. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• MBO+/HBO work and thinking level

• Organized, analytical, and accurate

• Proactive, solution-oriented, and stress-resistant

• Good command of Dutch and English (German, French, or English is a plus)

• Commercial and cost-conscious

• Affinity with logistics and the agricultural sector
