From planning in the office to working outside: discover how an infra project comes to life. Are you studying Civil Engineering, Middle Management Infra/Civil Engineering (GWW), or Built Environment? During your internship at Dura Vermeer Infra, you will participate in execution or work preparation. From Drachten, we are active on projects spread across the North. Together, we will look at which available internship position aligns with your interests, learning goals, and commuting distance.

In execution, you will work alongside the site manager and learn how work is organized at the project location, with attention to safety, quality, and progress. In work preparation, you will discover what is needed before the outdoor work begins. Think of preparing activities, researching materials, and creating schedules.

You will be part of the team, receive guidance from experienced colleagues, and gradually take on more responsibility yourself. Of course, there is room for your ideas and school assignments. Which projects and activities you get to know depends on your internship period.

You will become part of Dura Vermeer Infra North East Region. From our office in Drachten, we work on civil projects in a large working area in the North. Think of bridges and viaducts, substations, water treatment plants, and quay walls.

Your internship position may be in the office in Drachten, but also at a project location elsewhere in the working area. This depends on your field of study and the projects running during your internship period. Therefore, please indicate where you live and what commuting distance is feasible for you. Together, we will look at which available position fits your studies, interests, and learning goals.
