Due to the expansion of our clinic in Amsterdam with extra outpatient rooms and the OR center, we are looking for a new colleague. Are you an all-round ophthalmologist and do you want to work in a progressive focus clinic where medical craftsmanship, collaboration, and development are central? Then we cordially invite you to apply!
As an ophthalmologist at Bergman Clinics, you play a crucial role in improving the quality of life of our patients. You will get the unique opportunity to practice the profession in its full breadth and contribute to the further development of ophthalmology.
You will work within a close-knit and professional team of ophthalmologists, physician assistants, optometrists, and ophthalmic technicians. Depending on your preference and availability, you will work in Amsterdam South-East or in a combination of Amsterdam and Haarlem, practicing various facets of ophthalmology.
In Amsterdam South-East, you will work in close collaboration with the Amsterdam UMC and participate in general and, if possible, also specialist clinics (such as cornea, glaucoma, orbital and oculoplastic surgery, medical retina, and vitreoretinal). You will also play an active role in the training of medical students and residents.
In Haarlem, you will get the unique opportunity to participate in various facets of ophthalmology in our clinic. Think of: cataract, oculoplastic surgery, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. The possibilities we offer are versatile and include work both in the outpatient clinic, the operating room, and the independent treatment rooms.
Additionally, you will perform duties in the outpatient clinic, operating room, and in independent treatment rooms, allowing you to continuously switch between different disciplines and patient groups.
We are looking for a new colleague for both the Amsterdam and Haarlem locations. A combination of both locations is preferred, but we are also happy to discuss if your preference is for the Amsterdam location only.
In Amsterdam South-East, you will work in a clinic with a strong reputation and a wide range of care within ophthalmology. You will be part of a team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists, ophthalmic technicians, and PAs, supported by a hospitable Front- & Backoffice team. Thanks to the close collaboration with colleagues from the Amsterdam UMC, there is an abundance of knowledge and expertise to brainstorm with.
As part of the team at Bergman Clinics | Ogen in Haarlem, you will work together with a diverse group of professionals. You will work in our well-running and long-established clinic with a good reputation and a wide range of care. However, you will not be alone; you will be supported by a team of professionals, including optometrists, orthoptists, ophthalmic technicians, and PAs, and all of this is supported by our hospitable Front- & Backoffice team. Our employees are not only specially trained but also motivated to achieve results. The atmosphere in the department is energetic and positive, with a strong focus on collaboration and success.
Thanks to the small scale of our clinics, communication lines are short, providing plenty of opportunities for your all-round development and wishes.
