We are looking for an enthusiastic veterinarian for 36 hours per week. Someone who enjoys the profession and loves contributing to a clinic where personal attention and expertise are central.

As a veterinarian at AniCura 't Heike, you will be involved in daily veterinary medicine for companion animals. You will conduct consultations independently, guide patients throughout their treatment, and consult with colleagues when a case requires it.

Your duties include

• Conducting consultations and creating treatment plans.

• Examining and treating patients with diverse care needs.

• Performing surgeries and other treatments appropriate to your experience.

• Utilizing diagnostic possibilities, such as ultrasound and X-ray examinations.

• Consulting with colleagues about complex cases and treatment options.

• Maintaining good contact with pet owners and clearly explaining diagnoses and treatments.

• Further developing your professional interests, for example within dentistry, ultrasound, or ophthalmology.

You will work at our locations in Veldhoven and Eindhoven. Together with the veterinary nurses and your fellow veterinarians, you will ensure high-quality patient care.

AniCura Dierenkliniek 't Heike has been a trusted name in Veldhoven and the surrounding area for many years. Many clients have been coming here for generations and know our practice as warm, personal, and expert. We take time for our patients and their owners and offer care that suits the animal and the situation.

We operate from two modern locations in Veldhoven and Eindhoven. Our team consists of 5 veterinarians and 7 veterinary nurses: a dedicated team in which we love to work together, share knowledge, and learn from one another.

Our clinics feature modern diagnostic equipment, including:

• Digital X-ray and dental X-ray.

• Ultrasound.

• Our own laboratory.

In addition, we have specialized knowledge in the fields of ophthalmology and echocardiography. For these examinations and treatments, patients are regularly referred from other veterinary clinics, even from the north of the country. This makes the work varied and offers plenty of opportunities to broaden your knowledge.

Dentistry is also receiving increasing attention at our clinic. We have plans to further expand this field from 2027 onwards and are therefore looking for a veterinarian who enjoys delving into this area. You do not need to be an expert yet: affinity with dentistry and the motivation to further develop your knowledge and skills are most important to us.

Whether you prefer to work broadly as an all-round veterinarian or want to specialize in a specific sub-field, such as dentistry, ultrasound, or ophthalmology: with us, there is room to see what suits you.

You:

• Have graduated as a veterinarian and have experience with companion animals.

• Can run consultations independently and take responsibility for your patients.

• Are flexible and enjoy working at both locations.
