• A completed construction-related education at mbo+/hbo level;

• At least 8 years of experience as a supervisor within complex residential or utility projects;

For the high-profile Galvanitas project in Oosterhout, we are looking for an experienced and decisive Site Manager who makes a difference on the construction site. On the former Galvanitas site, Hurks is realizing two residential buildings with a total of 76 apartments, approximately 2,900 m² of commercial space, and a parking garage. The project is part of a broader area development along the Wilhelminakanaal, where living, working, culture, and relaxation come together. The new construction connects to the industrial character of the former Galvanitas factory, while the existing halls are preserved for, among other things, catering, culture, and work functions.

As Site Supervisor, you are ultimately responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality execution of this challenging inner-city project.

• Managing supervisors, suppliers, and subcontractors;

• Monitoring planning, quality, safety, and costs;

• Organizing and coordinating all construction site activities;

• Ensuring optimal cooperation between the construction team, client, and partners;

• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks during execution;

• Actively managing construction logistics, safety, and minimal nuisance for the surroundings;

• Reporting to the project manager and participating in construction meetings.

The position can be filled either as a permanent employee or on an interim basis (ZZP/self-employed or secondment).
