What does an annual account, a tax filing, or a financial report say about an entrepreneur's next step? You see commercial opportunities, provide the right financial advice, ask the right questions, and set the client, team, and specialists in motion.

You start the week with an overview of multiple assignments and client teams. What requires attention today, where is a deadline at risk of tightening, and which file deserves an extra sharp look? You distribute the work, monitor progress, assess business figures, review annual accounts, analyze financial management reports, and fathom compilation engagements. In doing so, you keep an eye on both quality and the development of your colleagues.

As the central point of contact for your clients, you regularly sit at the table personally with entrepreneurs. You discuss their monthly or quarterly reports and look beyond the outcomes. Which developments stand out? What does this mean for the entrepreneur's plans? Where can improvements be realized? Which commercial opportunity requires action? You make signals discussable, provide practical advice, and involve specialists from other disciplines when their expertise further helps the client. In this role, you will be given the trust to actively shape client relationships, assignments, and commercial opportunities. You choose how to approach a client meeting, bring relevant expertise together, and maintain control over your own portfolio and teams. Colleagues share their knowledge and give you targeted feedback, while you maintain space to develop your own approach and to achieve that highly coveted AA title.

You also take the lead within the team. You coordinate assignments, identify technical points of attention, and coach assistants and senior assistants with targeted feedback and knowledge sharing. In this way, you connect clients, colleagues, and managers and ensure that everyone knows what is needed for a strong end result.

• You are currently following the post-bachelor AA and want to continue this alongside your work.

• You have approximately 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience within accountancy, through which you independently maintain an overview of assignments, files, and deadlines.

• You have targeted experience with the daily management of various client teams and know how to help colleagues further with clear feedback.

• You have a sharp eye for the client and the market and use monthly or quarterly reports to discover commercial signals and discuss them proactively with the client.

• You recognize opportunities for cross-selling and engage relevant specialists when their knowledge adds value for the entrepreneur.

• You feel comfortable in a proactive role and enjoy sitting at the table personally with clients to fathom their ambitions, issues, and next steps.
