You will be working within the Public Advisory practice of Baker Tilly. As a Manager, you will fulfill a key role within a starting team of advisors that supports public organizations with diverse issues regarding governance, internal control, legality, risk management, and organizational development. You are responsible for managing multiple assignments and act as the connecting link between clients and accountants.
What you'll do

In doing so, you hold ultimate responsibility for the quality, progress, and substantive management of assignments. You guide organizations in strengthening their control function, optimizing business processes, and managing financial, operational, and compliance risks.
You lead teams in conducting investigations, risk analyses, and audits of processes and control measures. You are responsible for identifying risks and improvement opportunities within organizations and translating complex issues into clear, practical, and administratively relevant advice. In this role, you act as a sparring partner for boards, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, directorates, management teams, group controllers, and registrars.
In addition to your role within assignments, you play an important role in the development of the team.
