As an enthusiastic and expert financial professional, you will work for various clients, and regularly also on-site at their locations, through employment with Baker Tilly Interim Financials. Depending on your specialization, you will be deployed on assignments that match your wishes and ambition based on your background/experience and ambition. Together, we will create a development plan and search for challenging assignments among our wonderful clients and coordinate this with you.

Examples of assignments are roles such as Assistant Controller, Business Controller, or Financial Controller. Our assignments last on average 6 to 9 months. In terms of sectors, our clients are largely in Business Services, Industry, Manufacturing, Technology, and FMCG.

As a Senior Finance Consultant, in addition to optimizing financial processes and controlling the work of the finance department, you are responsible for preparing periodic financial reports. You also advise management on financial policy questions and support the development, execution, and monitoring of finances in general. Furthermore, as a true connector, you lead various teams and advise management on financial strategies.

This is what awaits you:

• Budgeting and Forecasting: preparing and monitoring budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial plans

• Control and analysis: preparing periodic reports, analyzing financial figures, and identifying deviations and risks

• Annual accounts and Audits: preparing the annual accounts and supporting internal and external audits

• Internal Control: implementing and monitoring internal financial processes and risk management

• Compliance and regulation: ensuring compliance with tax and financial laws and regulations

• Ideally, you have HBO/WO (Higher Professional/Academic) working and thinking level, in the direction of Accounting, Finance, Control, or Economics;

• You have experience in leading projects and change management;

• You have experience within the profit sector;

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a financial role.
